Everyone knows that skin care is important, but our opinion about what good skin care can actually vary greatly. Some people believe that you need to go to a professional to have good skin, while others think you need to occasionally rub cream, and others who only treat their skin every month or less. Some people will be obsessed with caring for their skin all the time. Skin care is really just routine to treat your skin that doesn’t need to be complicated or expensive.
When you start your skin care routine, you need to find whether your skin is dry, greasy, normal or sensitive and select the appropriate product. There are creams on the market to fit everyone, you usually have to try the first few to find the best for you.
1. Cleanse.
The first part of the skin care routine is cleaning. This means removing dirt and oil from your skin. Cleaners usually contain water, surfactants and oil. Try using that without soap. Use water that is not too hot or too cold to wash your face as an extreme temperature can damage your skin. Don’t clean too often, because oil on your skin is there for a reason and you don’t want to delete it too often.
2. Exfoliate.
You need to peel your skin that removes long dead skin cells so they can be replaced with a new one, if not, whatever cream or lotion you apply will enter the old dead cells and there is no purpose. You have to do this about 4 times a week unless you have dry skin when half is enough. You might need to do this more often in hot weather.
3. Moisturize
Now your skin will be ready for moisturizing. Even if you are oily skinned, it needs to be moisturized. Moisture on your skin will be locked. However, using too much can cause you to have clogged pores. When different moisturizers will work differently on your skin, you need to experiment to find out how much you need. If you apply it when your skin is still rather wet, then you have the best chance to hold the most moisture.
4. Sunscreen
Finally you need to use sunscreen. Some moisturizers will load this already, but check to ensure that they are a fairly high factor. You will need UV protection regardless of the weather during the bright months of this year. The weather suddenly changed, and there was a bigger possibility for sunbathing on a cloudy day than most people thought.
So to conclude, the skin care routine is a simple thing to do. Do the best lotion and cream for you and then through your routine at least 5 times a week (every morning is usually optimal time), don’t do it too often because you don’t want to hurt your skin.
